I usually switch between channels 7, 8, and 10 because these channels take the news seriously and don't have ridiculous 10 minute segments on dancing dogs or whatever silly thing is going on. Channel 5 is always doing things like that. Just give me the news, weather, and traffic and leave out all the silly stuff. Then there is channel 9 that pushes a conservative view point.

Default Bridgette Nasso ????

I rarely watch the news any more, but did happen to catch a quick moment of it last week and caught Bridgette Nasso making yet another of her brilliant quotes. In reference to the fire at Camp Pendleton, Bridgette says, "to get an idea of how fast this fire has spread, take a look at this time lapse photography." Really?
After hearing and reading news of our crane wreck in 2003 on the 805/5 freeway merge, the media reported that the toppled over, when the boom bucked and got near all the specifics of the incident wrong, I decided that the news is less than accurate in most aspects and leans toward the side of personal opinions in commentary.
Bridgette spent more time sitting on the closed down freeway at 4am fixing her make up then gathering actual facts and reporting them as they were.

footnote:Bridgette isn't the only buffoon on the news, just the one that captures my attention most often.

I think Brandi is by far the worse of the two. She's got a freakin opinion on every single thing on the show.

When the wife has it on I exit the room quickly.

Strange that **** is considered the joke when it's about the only station (maybe Channel 10 somewhat) that eschews the eye candy anchors. It's the place where the old anchors go, with weekend mornings being the exception.

I've always thought of K.U.S.I. as the "old people" channel.

K.U.S.I is notable only for making the local Fox News team look like polished professionals. It's a hair above a Public Access show, so view it with the same fleeting curiosity you'd give the two-headed calf at the County Fair.

Glad to see Stenbock back on the air. She was at 10news for a while then disappeared.

Russo on the other hand still looks great, but man, time to move on from Stingaree club gear post baby.
