Yeah don't worry about me.We are fully packed, car and van stuffed, and we are ready to go to The Q if needed. The fire got as close as 4-6 miles from my house, but believe me,someone on this city-data site is or was across the street from these fires. And I hope and pray NO ONE LOOSES THERE HOUSE OR PLACE OF LIVING.STAY STRONG COUNTY.

Do you know if Paradise Hills was evacuated? Can't get a hold of a friend of mine who lives there. Little worried. Hope you continue to be ok.

Shannon-P.H. was not under a mandatory evacuation from what I remember. Not even a voluntary from what I remember as well. There is still a chance that they just left because they just didn't feel safe. There's people leaving all over the county;mandatory, voluntary or not.

I understand parts of OC and Rancho Santa Margarita are under mandatory evacuation. I don't know how far the fire is in relation to anything else, as Google or other fire maps aren't picking it up - anyone know??? I have some family and friends in that area who had to pick up and leave today. Since I'm on the east coast, it's hard to be so far not getting the constant updates.

Conterminous US Web Fire Maps

that might help. it doesn't make it easy to see where specific locations are, but if you check the right boxes, you might be able to sort it out.
