Thanks for the link.
Here in Connecticut we are thinking about those displaced and especially those who lost their homes. I know that SoCal will recover quickly.
Good luck guys

Thank you for posting this info, Sassberto! My brother lives in San Diego, and I'm relieved to see his home is near the evacuation sites (downtown SD) - meaning the "safe spots," which I assume is a good sign. Tried texting him last night, but he hasn't responded yet... anyway, thanks again!
Edit: Ironically, he texted me back as I was typing the above... says he's okay.

Yes, RSF was hit hard in some areas (Fairbanks Ranch). Please, please, check the links posted above for *official* information with detailed maps of the impacted areas.

That map was also a clear demonstration of why housing costs are so high in SD. You can clearly see that most of the undeveloped land is unbuildable. The undeveloped land is either mountains, or military installations. There are a couple of areas along I-15 that are only thinly developed right now, and look like they might be flat enough to build on, but in reality they are probably a lot more mountainous than they appear. San Diego is definitely a land constrained part of the country.
