Can anyone suggest safe neighborhoods and/or public high schools in Oceanside?

I don't know specific neighborhoods in O'side, but here is a list of schools city-wide that mentions some to stay away from (bottom of the list).

I think the best part of Oceanside would be the Rancho Del Oro area (between Oceanside Blvd and Highway 76 - along College Blvd). Specifically, I'd look into the Ivey Ranch area - that would put you at El Camino High school. But you need to be careful, because College Blvd. is the dividing line between Oceanside and Vista Schools. East of College Blvd & you'll be zoned for Vista High (not as good as El Camino).

Also, you can look at the south/east area of Oceanside/Vista in the Shawdowridge area. That's zoned for Rancho Buena Vista High (in the Vista School District).
