I went for a 5 mile run at lunch today in Poway. Yes, that heat can sap your energy!

Yesterday we were over at the Q looking at travel trailers. We were worried it would be oppressively hot, but apparently the river valley breezes keep it reasonable. We then went to the TJ's in MM and it was pretty uncomfortably hot over there!

So you only like San Diego weather for like 3 months out of the year? That must suck.

Can't imagine how those riders must have felt yesterday. They said it got up to 105 along the route

Oh it was easily like that today as well. Our car temp read out 106. They had loads of ambulances along the part of the route....not sure if they were being utilized or not. But they were prepared.

It's about ten degrees too hot. Good thing the place I'm in now has air conditioning. I was like, nah, I don't need it. No, I really won't use it.

Then the temp in the house got above 80 degrees and I closed the windows and said I'm using it.

No kidding! We have two cats and man they are ready to pass out if the house gets to 80.
I am certain they appreciate the AC just a little more than we do

I went to the beach today. Water felt cold, but nice. It's 96F here on Camp Pendleton, but where my dad works not too far away, was 100! I'm so glad there's no May Gray! Only foggy some nights lately, but clear otherwise. Let's hope the marine layer doesn't come in June!
