The truth is, cord-cutting vs content providers is where all the rumbling is at. The more choice, the better, but the reality is these cable companies kind of control many aspects people don't realize. And just because you pay one company, doesn't mean it's really cord-cutting.

And as I said, I've been a cord-cutter for a long time, I do a lot of side projects and it benefits me well. But people who just throw out the term "cord-cutter" and seem to have no clue what it really means is the problem. People don't seem to comprehend that as Netflix adds more original content, they will be forced to increase prices. Hulu plus is already a pain with their annoying commercials all the time. Amazon Prime might increase costs if it means more original content. It's cool now, but once it becomes popular, they'll increase as you are forced into their pay silos.

Plus the Cable Companies aren't going to sit and watch. There have been fights for years about usage based pricing. So if you watch all your TV programming over the internet, they are going to try and kill you with pricing. Phone companies have done this with various fees and charges. If you use smart phones, text, and have a family plan, you might be paying $200 a month. Cable companies and telcos are looking to do the same thing with TV. Will they? Who knows, I hope not, but they are fighting to do so.

ON another note, if you'd rather watch movies now at home instead of in a theatre, and you don't want a Tesla, here is the option for you.
