The dew point is 70 in La Mesa right now, but it doesn't feel bad to me since the temperature is only 77. The clouds are preventing the sun from baking my house and the 12 feet of windows that face west.

that puts the relative humidity around 80%. If the sun were out with that combination it would be miserable. Here in Chula Vista, the dew point is up to 68 and the temperature is 76. While not hot at all you can still just feel the moister in the air.

Enjoy the rain; I know you need it out there. It beats wildfires anytime.

"I discovered the best weather here really occurs between October through April."

huh?...I find it can get friggin chilly, to the point I caught a walking pneumonia a few years back. With the cold damp air coming off the bay that cuts through you--at least in downtown--I have found 55 or 60 in Dec - March can feel like 40 elsewhere.

Its about 4 pm and my windows and doors are wide open and the music is on. Its been drizzling/raining lightly for a couple of hours out here in East County. I am loving this, it feels good and best of all the AC is finally off today.

Raining pretty good in Chula Vista right now at the campground. Got the awning out and an ice cold beer but I feel sorry for the tent campers getting soggy.

Yep, it's coming down now. Current dew point in CV is now 71. Same as Jackson MS.

The only people I know who complain about the cold here in winter are those who dress like it's still July.

Should have been more specific to say that almost every day this summer (today excluded) has been a beach day.
