I suppose its a blessing to us he could not come home.

"The threat we are most concerned about to the homeland is that of fighters like this returning to the U.S. and committing acts of terrorism," a senior administration official told NBC News."

I've been following the ISIS news for the last month. It's terrifying. I think its just a matter of time before it hits home for most people in the US.

There is nothing worse than a religious extremist; the religion in question doesn't matter.

It was the mosque on Balboa Ave west of the I805 which sponsored something like 9 of the 9/11 terrorists.

Agreed, but I have not encountered, nor have I read about, many extremists Buddhists in my day.

Those extremist Buddhists are in Burma right now urging villagers to kill all of the non-buddhists. They've had a virtual genocide there with whole villages hacked to death, beaten to death, then burned down. It's started a refugee crisis too as hundreds of thousands of people are forced to flee for their lives from the only homes they've ever known.
