I have Boost Mobile and a high quality smartphone purchased within the last year. While most people come in crystal clear, I have noticed that many find my voice scratchy and even intermittent. Anyone else having issues with Boost in SD county?

Also, I moved here with Clearwire for internet and it does not work where I am. Anyone using it anywhere in SD County with success?

I'm in Mission Valley.

I'm not sure I understand your second question. To set up a home internet service provider you have to arrange for service with a company that exists in your area. I'm not certain how you would "move with" a provider, unless you're talking about the 4G service for your phone?

EDIT: I googled "clearwire San Diego" and their service area map came up first thing. It looks like they have basically no coverage in San Diego county except for a small area around downtown and an area around escondido. You'll have to switch a wireless company that actually provides coverage in your area. All of them have coverage area maps so you can check where you'll have service.

There is something to be said for using one of the larger companies. They may be a big more expensive but you generally don't have to worry about this sort of thing unless you're going to be somewhere out in the middle of nowhere

Thanks for the verification - for years now I have had a hotspot through Clear that has been handy for when I wanted to work on the go. But I'm getting wireless inclusive where I live so I'm fortunate.

I used clear wire in various areas and they are just ok. I would recommend verizon or att in this area and nationwide especially for cell coverage. they are making deals.

Verizon does sound like the way to go. I will look into them.
