Yup, Its true you do get more with att but the service sucks its internet based witch means all tv listings, movies comes thru the net and it can get kinda choppy and slow at times. we have radome freeze ups often. its very annoying for me. the 6kb/s internet is not too bad seems slow at times but not too bad. I think Att could be good they just have lots of problems in the tv department. I think they are very new to the tv service.

We pay around 75.00 for the 6kb internet and the DVR with the U300 package (all channels except HBO, Cinemax and the sports package.

I've never used COX because our apparent has some kind of deal with Att, but if i could choose i would pick COX.

hope this helped you.

Just moved down here , i got the Cox 1-3 mb package modem/phone/TV. Love the TV and phone but the modem never gets above 1.2mb . Called them and they said it should be getting around 3 and I can upgrade to 5-10mb for 15.00 . So i don't get why i'm locked a half speed unless it them doing it?

I use cox and it works great!!!!

I only pay 20 bucks a month for it too :P

The trick is to make sure you google any deals, there's always a deal going on and you can generally work with them to continue that deal if you're nice and amicable. They're always doing promotions.

However, I should note I've never used AT&T so can't rightfully judge just how good/or bad they really are.

I've heard many bad stories about AT&T. I have the second most expensive cox internet connection and it is pretty good but expensive. If Verizon ever offers internet out here I will go back to them in a new york minute but 4 now I'm staying with cox.

I've had bad experiences with both, to be honest. Go with whatever is cheaper for you.

Your going to find people who have problems or complaints with both companies, that's just how it is. I've been with COX since 2003 for cable, and I left SBC which is now AT&T in 2004 for my landline and have COX digital telephone now. I would never go back to AT&T, COX isn't perfect and I can find faults of theirs to, but overall they have treated me well and their technicians have been very good whenever I've needed them to look at an issue, which isn't to often.
