Looks like it is already pending... But it is beautiful. That is a busy area.

That's excellent feedback thanks so much. The price difference was from the "flipper" renovating it. It's curious why it's been on for almost a year though. Also learned this section of La Jolla Scenic that it's on is free for all public parking, so Mon-Fri looks like hundreds of students park on the street in front and around the house. That alone would probably be enough to rule it for me, even if not for myself for resale.

Man it is hard buying a house in San Diego haha

Wow. Wonder why... Is here something going on with it that you can tell?

Oh, the parking anywhere in that area is nuts.

Not sure it's strange though. I think one of them was financing related. The other I am not sure what happened.

yes, it is hard unless you happen upon THE area that you fall in love with. SD is full of communities/neighborhoods and each have their own character/vibe, pros and cons. What was it about Encinitas that you didn't like? To go slightly off topic, I seem to recall you are moving from Wilmington NC. What was it about Wilmington that you liked and didn't like...I'm only asking because it's one of the places on my long list to retire (the cost of living here is getting rather high for a retiree like myself).

Another option what do you all think, in point loma:

Love autumn - great points thanks. Encinitas, I really liked. Thought it was really cool, like an urban beach town. What I didn't like very much was how detached from everything in SD I felt while there. That said it could be a place I end up after living in SD for a little while. Wilmington - it's a great little town. Not as good weather, lots of rain, storms, and no diversity, very little things to do and very few people my age. It's an appetizer and dessert town in my opinion. Nothing much for people in the main course of their lives.

Retirement though it'll probably be a great place! Much cheaper than SD

I still like the bird rock area and point loma. There's a home in point loma in La Playa that seems very nice, albeit small for the price: 3415 Charles St, San Diego, CA 92106 is For Sale | Zillow
