Solana Beach ? Sure, it's by the beach, but upscale.

Parts of Poway, parts of RB, Carmel Mtn. Anything in Rancho Santa Fe.

Downtown. Mission Hills.

I guess you need to define what's upscale. I see upscale as nice suburban, clean, safe, somewhat new. Others may see upscale as close to the beach. Others may see upscale as where celebs live.

Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes.

There are so many in CA that it's hard to keep track of them all.
