I've lived in Chicago and LA, and I've experience rush (hah!) hour through London. I agree that San Diego doesn't know how good they have it traffic-wise. Still, if you're not careful where you live your commute in San Diego can easily get to be an hour each way. (Compared to two hours' each way, which is common in Chicago or LA.)

Yep - - and on top of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, let me add Washington DC and Philadelphia as two cities I traveled extensively in and that they also were five times a bad as far as traffic is concerned than San Diego.

I swear that the only people who complain about San Diego traffic must be sixty year old native San Diegans and people from 200K populated towns from the Midwest.
