This is a touchy subject for sure but just curious if current Charger fans locally would become Raiders fans if they moved to SD and the Bolts bolted up to Carson ? A recent report surfaced suggesting the Raiders may be open to SD relocation if the Chargers and Rams move up the coast.

As a Raider Fan, i will root for them wherever they go!
The San Diego Raiders just does not sound right, and even with the huge presents of Raider Nation here in San Diego, they are not the types of people that would buy, let alone be able to afford season Tickets.
The city of Oakland maybe broke, but the people in the surrounding areas and the hills of Oakland have have major money and will support with sky-boxes ect...

I'm a Detroit area transplant and root for the Lions first and Chargers second (though at the game this weekend - my first! - I'm going to be neutral and just have fun)...but I would root for any SD NFL team if the Chargers moved. Gotta support your community!

Yes, I would root for the franchise if they change their name to the Chargers and keep Felipe Rivers. Then we would have only rid ourselves of Spanos and the front office, most of us our fans of the team, the logo, and its history and not necessarily the franchise or front office itself.

And Spanos can call his franchise whatever the hell he would like just leave us the Charger name.

Are you insinuating the majority of Raider Fans in San Diego are of a lower socioeconomic standing ?

Been a Charger fan since I moved here in 1992.

Not sure yet if I would be a fan of an LA team, BUT....

Once thing is certain, absolutely set in stone...

I WILL NEVER BE A RAIDER FAN. I'm not a gangster.

I'll root for any professional team from San Diego.

I won't root for the Chargers if they leave. Period. That would be like someone in Houston rooting for the Titans or someone in Cleveland rooting for the Ravens. No.

Learning to tolerate the Raiders or Jaguars would be an adjustment, but I'd get over it eventually.

Heck, I wouldn't be completely shocked if, in the scenario where the Raiders go to San Diego, the Raiders and Chargers decided to swap names and uniforms. That would be a big win for San Diego, actually, since it means keeping the Chargers and losing Spanos.
