Hi My names Jessica:

Im am from Philadelphia, PA I was just out in San Diego for a last minute vacation the beginning of this year. I fell in love with the city the weather was beautifull and everyone I met was very friendly. My friend and I are currently college students and decided to come out there to finish out our years left with school. I want to know what neighborhoods are safe and affordable anywhere between 800-1200 preferrbly for a 2 bedroom. I heard Pacific Beach was a great place for college students. We dont need to be by the beach. Any neighborhoods between there and Los Angelos are welcome as well. We are partiers and would like to be close to the nightlife. My friend is also a lesbian so it would be nice to be in an area where she can do here thing lol

Thanks

Anything 1BR under 1k/mo you have to be really careful about the neighborhood or the quality of the apartment.

For a 2BR I would look more in the 1200+ range.

go find a cougar **** and milk money off of her via your lesbo friend haha.

for 1000 you will not find a 2 br, you won't even find a 1 br for that in a "nice" area. If you want clean, safe, and affordable be ready to spend 1600+ for a 2 Bedroom, or if you can make a 1 BR work, look to spend at least 1200-1300 for a decent place on the outskirts of the city. Mission Valley has some pretty good deals right now for apartments, it would be a 5 minute drive into downtown and you'd be close to the shopping malls. Other than that, PB or MB but the quality of the place will be lacking unless you can pony up about 1500/m for 2 br. Downtown SD forget about it, you will need 1500/m for a 1 BR, and 2K for a 2BR.
good luck.
