Default San Diego Home Prices

Is there anywhere in San Diego that still has affordable housing?!? My family and I have visited a lot, and we love the place, but there is no way that we can swing the huge price difference in housing

At what price point would housing be "affordable" for you? And what kind of housing would you find acceptable? If 200k for a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo conversion is affordable and acceptable then San Diego has plenty of affordable housing. If that doesn't meet your criteria, then no, there are no areas left in San Diego that qualify as affordable.

unless you want to rent that is....which is what a lot of us do. You can rent a home that you could never afford to buy. For a lot of younger people and families in san diego who choose to live here we just accept the fact that we have to rent. But I guess in other places people find that odd...(?)
