Would like the opinion of the San Diego population if you currently have/had/planned to have Metro PCS as your cell phone provider.

Just want to know how satisfied are you with the service. I'm not a heavy cell phone/data/text user so I was leaning towards T-Mobiles plans, but heard about Metro PCS, who I believe also use T-Mobile towers. Metro also offers pretty much the same plans as T-Mobile but for a more affordable price. So just wanted to know opinions on the service.

For comparison purposes, I have AT&T and pay around $50/month after taxes/fees/discounts for 200MB of data, no text, 200 minutes of call time (I know ... how do I survive right?). I never go over my minutes and data so not really looking for an increase, but Metro PCS has unlimited calls/text/data for $40/month. T-Mobile I think offers the same for $60/month.

I've heard that they're owned by T-Mobile. I have the T-Mobile Simple Choice plan, and it costs me $76 per month.
