How is Lemon Grove these days?
Last threads I saw about Lemon grove were kind of old. Not sure if the neighborhood has worsened or not. What parts are the trouble spots?

Lemon Grove, pretty much the same as it's ever been. Kinda run down and worn at the edges but still mostly decent people in modest houses. The trouble spots are mostly at the southern end in Skyline & Lomita Village area.

You don't want to live right on the main street, but it's not bad over there.

Lemon Grove resident here, for about three years. Southern part, near Canton Drive. It's still alrighty. Of course, Lemon Grove wouldn't be my first choice to live because its really more suitable for families, but it works for now.

By 'southern' I mean down south of Jamacha Rd. I like the area around Mass ave, esp once you go some blocks in off the main street.

Lemon Grove
I'm a gently aging hippie in Kansas City. I am looking for a town about the size of Lemon Grove. I'd like to be near a strong artists community. Is Lemon Grove okay for me?

Lemon Grove is contiguous with San Diego metro and is not a "town". It's borders are porous with an area of over a million people.

Sandi,
Sassberto speaketh the truth. And when I think of an artsy community, Lemon Grove definetly does not spring to mind.
