As Raider fan, i love to see Charger fans miserable and embarrass, but not like this.

Didn't the Bosas understand that the higher the draft pick you go the "crappier" the team you get to play for??? That's kind of football 101. If Joey got picked 30th he may have gone to a better team BUT for less money and prestige. Chargers heels are dug in and this stand off will hurt them, but it will hurt Bosa more if they let him sit out a year. He should realize his real money contract comes four years from now.

Personally I've seen too many of these "golden boys" who come out of college way over hyped and then flame out.

Raiders and Browns may be two sleeper teams this year. Ya, even this Broncoid has trouble picking on em when they're down.

Chargers are in the wrong here. Cheap ownership. Why would anyonewant to play for this ownership group- take off your charger homer glasses. Add the fact that you play 16 away games a year. Then the added fact that you get picked by team try to set up some support system and roots and they are going to be moved in a year. I can easily see why SD might be the last place one would want to play professional football.

I know it is hard to side with the sports athlete fighting for millions but what the Chargers are asking is unprecedented given Bosa's slot in the draft.

Can they just to move to LA already.

Buckeye fan here.

Bosa is a one man wrecking crew. He was double and triple teamed all year and made plays.

I'd love to see him dealt away to the Browns

Spanos is known for dumping talent so who knows.

I think the Raiders are going to win the West.

The thing is, he wants his bonus pay out in one big lump sum, the chargers have never done this. Even Philip Rivers, and Gates didn't get their signing bonus in a lump sum.
Bosa's agent happens to be Eli Manning's Agent Tom Condon

And the #1 and #5 overall pick will get their bonus upfront. That's fine. But the Chargers want offset language along with the bonus deferment- which is an Unchartered position for a team to take when selecting a player in the top 5 of the draft.

So Bosa should make a concession when no other player has?

If he does he should fire his agent

Gates was an Undrafted free agent with no leverage at all. Rivers drafted under an entirely different collective bargaining agreement.
