Default CA-125 Toll Road and Fast Track??

I was trying to find some information on how tolls are charged on this road and the rates for a fast track pass. I found a map of the road, but no info on how they determine tolls. We've gotten on it 3 times now. Once rode it all the way to the south end for something like $4.00. Got on it once in Chula Vista...don't know where we were, went north for about a mile - $2.50.
I read where it is anywhere from .75 to $4.50. I'm confused!

in a nutshell, the southbay expressway is a RIPOFF. with that being said, for those who live in the area, it is substantially beneficial to buy the fast trak pass, which turn $2.50 average tolls into $0.75 cents if you travel between birch st. and san miguel st. but no where further north or south of this range, and $2.75 or $3.00 or whatever instead of the $4.50 or whatever total if you drive all the way across the 9 mile toll area (either north or south, but going north all the way and then south all the way, you pay once each way). basically, if you don't have a fast trak, you're going to get ripped off either way, but if you have fast trak, the charges are decent (and automatic) but still a ripoff IMHO.

Source: i live in eastlake and AVOID using the "payway" almost every day! i used it today cuz i was late for school (sdsu)

Plus it hasn't helped any other traffic in the South Bay and it does not save you that much time.

Yes, it seems quite pricey! How much is the fast track pass? Is it a monthly pass? Where do you buy it?

It's actually not that bad as compared to the 91 express going to riverside. It's $10 at it most expensive time, Friday, 3-4pm

I opened up a Fast Track account for $40.00 I opened my account at their service center in Otay Mesa, 1129 La Media Rd. It can be done by phone or on line as well (see link above). IMHO it is worth it for me as I work in Allied Gardens and take 125 to Navajo. It takes me less than 15 minutes to get to the Navajo exit from East H (granted that's not at rush hour) and saves gas over the stop-and-go H street to 805 westward-back-to-eastward route. I usually take it to work only as I'm more pressed for time and take 125 to 54 through Bonita coming home to save toll $$. I don't use 805 anymore unless I am going somewhere northwest of Eastlake though. Going west to go to East County has never made sense to me, and when gas is sky high, costs more than $1.75 in the long run.
Although it is a little pricey, once you start using it you enjoy the time and mileage you save. My only issue with it (other than price) is that it is very dark at night, apparently due to the wildlife preserve areas around Proctor Valley. They claim they have tow trucks regularly patrolling it, but I've yet to see one in a year. Make sure your car is in good shape if you're going to use it at night.

Default Got lost

I was looking last night for an address near the entry the 125 south toll rd, and accidentally got into the toll road, at about 6:30 pm, and before I realiza could not get out of this wrong exit, took it for like 3 miles south bound and got out of toll road at East H and did not have cash change to pay, it appeared to be 2.50 and did not have a way to pay then.
I feel very inverest for that and want to pay the fee if possible, before I get a fine on the mail. It was an accident, and was all nervous by time got into checkpoint, and was hoping to see a security person to pay with card, but is all automatic and could not figure how to pay.
It happened Wednesday November 19th, at like 6:30 pm, my licences plates are [moderator cut] please reply with a phone number of who to call to resolve this matter.
Thanks
JD
