Just a note that Henry's carries a lot more organic products (excluding their organic produce & meats) that you probably won't find in mainstream supermarkets like Vons, Ralph's or Albertsons. Those products are pricier so be sure to compare Henry's to the appropriate market in your area.
Food4Less - I've only been there once but really couldn't find what I usually shop for at Vons.

We get 75% of our groceries from Windmill Farms / Henry's, 15% from Trader Joes, the remaining 10% or so from the supermarket. Really we could probably cut the supermarket out completely if we wanted to.

FYI
Vons=Genuardis=Dominicks=Safeway
Albertsons=Acme=Jewel=Osco=Savon
Whole Foods (also known as Bread and Circus) bought Henrys so there is talk of phasing out the "Henry's" name
I've never seen a Wegmans, Piggly Wiggly, Ralphs, Giant, Aldis, outside of their known locals so I don't know if there are related or solo.
Ugh.. I've lived in too many states!

I believe Food4Less is also owned by the same company as Ralphs/Kroger.
I like Food4Less because they have good savings all the time. They also don't require a Club Savings card to get their discounts.
Another place I highly recommend for groceries, fresh fruits, and vegetables is the 99 Cents Only store chain. They have several locations in San Diego.
99¢ Only Stores - Home - Nothing Over 99¢ Ever!
Everything in the store is .99 cents or less, and the quality of their groceries and merchandise is much better than most typical dollar stores. You never know what you may find there since they get all types of new products each week.

I checked the links for Vons and Ralphs--prices much, much lower than Center City Philadelphia's (PA) major (and least expensive) grocery stores.

I find the prices in San Diego much higher than the prices in Northern California...sometimes as much as $1.00 more per item!
