Hello all!
I may be relocating to San Diego due to a job in the UTC area. My family is looking for places to live. I was wondering how is the commute from Encinitas/Leucadia area to UTC/La Jolla? It is quite fast without traffic but it seems like the 5 could back up in the mornings. Thanks for any assistance! We are also looking for family friendly places to rent any suggestions would be great. We have a young baby and are now living in an downtown area in a tiny apt, we like the urban lifestyle but now that baby is starting to walk am looking for an area that is cleaner, quieter, parks that you don't have to give the once over for dirty needles, stuff like that! Would prefer shorter commute so are willing to trade space for proximity. Thank you so much! Curious |

Yeah, its only about 30-40 minutes. If you look in Solana Beach to rent, you will find a lot of options as well as a slightly shorter commute. Why not live in UTC, Carmel Valley, or Sorrento Valley?
