It would be a great idea...if people (who are destroying the bikes) weren't such animals.

As usual something that starts out as a good thing turns bad. We give the homeless housing, food and now bikes. This is a sign of things to come and its not good.

The homeless used to chill on the sidewalk by the library.

After the hepatitis outbreak, SDPD must have been forcing them to walk around and mingle with the normies.

If you go to Horton Plaza, don't use the elevators.

The City can turn this into a profit machine. Issue citiations for the folks riding them on the sidewalk. I’m sure that’s coming.

This is also bringing out all the novice riders who could be prone to doing dumb things on them...like riding on the sidewalk and against traffic

Cars are by far the biggest nuisance to American cities. Expensive infrastructure, deadly, polluting, and they take up every available inch of paved space.

These bikes pale in comparison.

What a bunch of fat azz lazy whiners!

“Oh, I see colorful bikes on the side of the road, with homeless people commandeering them and others who should be restricted (as I have deemed myself and thus all others to be) to only using cars instead of getting exercise, having fun and enjoying the fresh air and actually engaging in the city around them them, I am enraged!” Because walking and bike riding should be considered subversive in America.

Welcome to Wall-E

You can roll down your car window and enjoy the fresh air that way.

An exceedingly poor substitution to actually breathing in and pumping that oxygen to your working muscles (assuming you still have any), lungs and brain.
