Hello all,
We are moving to Vista in a couple of weeks. My kids homeschool and I thought we would continue but my 14 yr old wants to go to public high school. I am looking for smaller schools (charters, magnets, etc) and was wondering if anyone has their kids in any nearby schools.

Thank you!

Check home buying websites for the local school ratings, as well as the rating sites themselves. Also you can lookup the name of the schools online and probably see reviews.

Your looking for a charter or magnet high school?

I don't know if such a thing even exists here.

I have quite a few friends who have kids that attend Classical Academy (elementary, middle and high schools) and they love it. There are different tracks depending upon what fits your family. The only downside (which may not be at all) is that some of that locations can provide you with a bit of a commute but if only going 2-3 days a week, it may not even be an issue.

You may want to look at the website Charter Schools/ISPs which has a lot of resources to start your search.

Good Luck!
