Anyone have any insight on rates for nannies / daycares around University City?

Put an ad on Craigs list: Gigs > Domestic. State the services you want done and get them to tell you their rate. Always check their references before you hire anyone. If they don't have / won't give references, find someone else.

If you don't know what questions to ask a reference, send me a direct message.

Are you on the Nextdoor app for the area? I see several people on there looking for work as a nanny. When my daughter was getting her teaching credential 2 years ago at SDSU she was a part time nanny for a 2 year old and was paid $18 per hour. She had a lot of nanny experience from college and after in New York City where she was paid $20 to $22 and hour.

There is a website where you can do Nanny Share also. You’ll have to google a bit to find it.
