Guys I work with said border jumpers were running down the lanes like they did years ago go so BP closed them to reinforce. Lot's of people called in today as they can't get across.

Ya and a guy just got in here said it was hours long. He usually gets here by 5.

For real time news look to www.frontera.info, the local TJ paper. They reported that the lanes were closed for 3 hrs to reinforce the border area. The Ped East foot crossing was also affected.

I assume this will go on all week which is a shame since TJ should be getting an influx of tourism dollars this coming week. Let's see who decides to go or stay.

I texted a friend who lives there. She said that didn't try to cross today, but she heard that it was 6 hour wait to cross. But she said that she has to cross tomorrow for school (she goes to SDSU), and is working tomorrow night.
