I’m not condoning anything, but it’s pretty easy to bring in a water bottle filled with clear alcohol. I’ve never really had them thoroughly checked, regardless of what’s in them. You can just hedge your bets if you’re worried and easily fix the seal with a couple of drops of superglue. I may have done this once or twice in my youth. As long as you’re not already sauced they hardly give you a second thought. At least this has always been my experience.

It would be wise to come down on concession prices though. The Gulls, and even the Padres have discounted food and beer on select nights and times. A minor league team shouldn’t be gouging it’s fans while trying to grow. Unfortunately I don’t think this league will be around too long, only because history says so. It was nice a couple of weeks coming home Saturday night from the beach and seeing a full(er) parking lot at the stadium, at least on the west half, didn’t get to see the other side. Maybe there’s hope.

Did anyone read about the low food prices at Atlanta's new dome? I hope this is the start of a trend.

Here are some menu boards. You can Google for the stories.

Pretty soon stadiums are going to prohibit all outside food and drink from coming in due to people like you smuggling it in. If you've ever been to Sports Arena, they have this policy in place. Most of the people working the gates could care less, anyway. I used to work gates at the Chargers games, and confiscated lots of alcohol. You have to know what to look for.

That's because Arthur Blank, founder of Home Depot, Owner of the Falcons and Mercedes Dome, has more money than he'll ever need in the next 10 Lifetimes.
Dude Built his own Stadium with out using the Tax payers dollars.

I don't object to venues not allowing outside food and drink. But I strongly think, since we live in a semi-desert climate, those venues ought to be required to provide drinking water at no cost. I don't suppose that'll ever happen.

I think there is a requirement for a water access point, but try to find it.

The access points are drinking fountains. You'll just be required to buy your beverage of choice, since you won't be able to bring it in with you.
