Hi everyone, I'd like to hear the opinions of other fellow San Diegans on where to find the best nachos in San Diego County. I live in the North County but would like to hear your suggestions for anywhere in the county.

I know there are 7/11 nachos but I'm sure there are taco shops across the county that have some really good one's. The only ones I truly enjoy are the Super Nachos that you can get at some Filiberto's, any others?

I'm surprised that there were no recommendations. I know I can't be the only one who enjoys a nice plate of nachos from time to time.

Anyhow for any other fellow Escondido residents, or anyone that is ever in the North County, I heard that the Alberto's on Escondido Blvd. has some terrific Super Nachos. I have never tried them, but I'll be giving it a try soon.

I had some really good nachos about three or four years ago but I'm not positive about where they were from because a friend brought them over. I know she got them from somewhere along Mission Beach. I want to say Roberto's by the rollercoaster but I can't be sure. Anyways, they were really good nachos.

The best nachos are the ones you make at home!

You know, I don't think I've had nachos in San Diego. I like simple nachos...beans, cheese and jalapeños. No beef, chicken or guacamole nonsense on mine, thank you!

I actually find the 7/11 nachos with just chips and cheese very tasty, some variety sometimes is nice though so the super nachos at filibertos for example are very good.

Also the nachos you get at Petco Park for example are not bad, you just pay a bit more at a sporting even for things like that.

Tango, are you thinking of the Roberto's down there on Mission Boulevard?

Yeah, I love that place! But I've never actually bought nachos from there. My friend bought them but they were really good, now I'm craving nachos. Hopefully I can get some soon.

The messier the better for me! Add shredded beef, sour cream and guacamole to your recipe above and I'm good!!
