We stayed at the Mission Bay RV park in 2015.
the houses around it were supposed to be removed because they are illegal.
the whole place was to be redeveloped.
is the RV park still there?
it was next to Campland on the bay RV park
thanks all

Mission Bay RV Park is pretty much a relic of a bygone era. No one lives there anymore and all mobile homes worth anything have been moved. The city of San Diego will be scraping it clean as soon as funds are available.

Just to the west is Campland by the Bay. Campland by the Bay is extremely popular with family campers, but that place may be gone soon too.

You're thinking of the DeAnza Cove Mobile Home Park. The Mission Bay RV Resort is still there. There's a difference between an RV park/resort and a mobile home park.

Have you checked out the Pio Pico RV Park as an alternative to Santee Lakes? It's in a beautiful, quiet setting, and is actually a little closer to the coast and SD's attractions than Santee. It has lots of room to spread out. It's a Thousand Trails Park but they usually have room for non-members. Here's a link:

You won't find any illegals crossing the border for 60 miles out but there is a good population of illegals already here so.....

There is another RV park in Bay Park that would still be close to the beach. Also Silver Strand beach but it's not a resort.

Or is Mission Bay RV Resort at the corner of W Morena Blvd and Morena Blvd?

Apparently they were right next to each other. The Mission Bay RV Resort is still there. If it was closed, their website wouldn't be up, nor would they get current reviews.
