Germany has been reported to be doing well including maintaining opening of their economy and limited case/death numbers despite a large size refugee/immigrant population due to their leadership being Honest and Transparent with their populace, following Science, decent amount of Testing & Tracing, having the public behave like non-adolescence, non-selfish whiney babies who Care about susceptible populations and follow publich health measures, and more, and who understand what Freedom means. In contrast to the failed trumpy regime - see death numbers/cases of USA vs Germany, S. Korea, etc adjusted to population size, wealth, testing etc. Some of the native American reservations have been hit hard.

Funny, I was just thinking about the casinos. Viejas is reopening on May 18th. I’m surprised.

It's toast. I cut through the stip mall every time I go out, so I was surprised when people were taking all the fixtures out and the space was empty.

I liked Souplantation, but I never fooled myself that I was eating healthy.... gobs of salad dressing, three to four bowls of heavily salted soup, four pieces of bread with butter, two pieces of cornbread with honey butter, soft serve ice cream on top of a brownie.....

Buffets are the reason I visit casinos. They can usually count on me dropping $20 to $40 in a machince just because I am in the building.

Souplantation / Sweet Tomatoes declared bankruptcy in 2016 and has been owned by a parasitic private equity firm ever since, they were barely hanging on pre corona.

I did some consulting work with a major casino many years ago. This casino valued every head walking in the front door @ $58. With the help of those Point Cards, Casinos really know their customers.

Good detective work. And I just confirmed it. Being owned by a Private Equity Group really explains everything. PEGs cut bait quickly when things turn south on them.

Did you read their line about Gift Cards? They told Souplantation Gift Card holders to try to get a refund from their credit card issuers. Otherwise, see you in court.
