Default Paradise Valley Rd. & South Meadowbrook Dr. ???

Hello,

I'm looking at a house in Paradise Hills and I've heard there are parts that are kinda iffy. I'm looking in the area of Paradise Valley Rd. & South Meadowbrook Dr.

It's up towards La Preza more. Anyone live / work near there? Shady areas or gangs near there at all? Thank you!

J

"Paradise Valley Road", as idyllic as it may sound, automatically conjures up "iffiness" to anyone who has been in San Diego in the past 15 years. I looked at condominiums in that area 15 years ago and it was "iffy" then. La Presa is also iffy for gang activity and such. Since you are already basically in the South Bay in that area, I would actually go a little further south, to Bonita or the Eastlake area--much nicer neighborhoods.

We just looked at a house in La Presa area on Saint George off sweetwater right next to the vons..
Could somebody PLEASE help us by telling us how the neighborhood is.
There is good and bad everywhere and for the prices of the houses i know we artent gonna have a white picked fence in a perfect community...
But I have read soooo much about how bad it is there.. ANYONE actually live over there that can give me an honest opinion?
