Default Temporary month to month studio below 900 p/mo?

I am in the need of a short term studio until november but i am having trouble finding a location somewhere in la mesa, ocean side, spring valley or other portions of san diego. My budget is anything up to 800 a month and i only plan on staying for five months. My small budget and awkward leasing terms makes it very difficult to find a place even though i dont care about living conditions. Can anyone help me find a cheap temporary location/atudio that offers a month to month rental agreement?

800 might not happen.Maybe a pat dwelling in a rough area with high crime and a shady atmosphere but I would not be able to help you with a price that low.

I suggest looking into sublets on Craigslist. There aren't many short term rentals in San Diego that I'm aware of, besides the shady ones downtown.

Would you consider splitting a place, I am about where you are on the budget and create 0 drama, 51 and keep things tidy.

Default SROs

This likely is way far away from the area you are seeking, but downtown San Diego has several SROs that may not be beautiful but IMO are nice enough studios for short term stays if they are still accepting people on the short term. I stayed at the J Street Inn Affordable Housing SD and was very happy with my experience there - at the time that I was there (it was several years ago) you could go week to week and it was app. $200/ week - it's likely gone up, but as it is targeted to low-income persons/ affordable housing i would assume it's still pretty reasonable (wasn't able to open the "2008 rates" on their website). But it does also seem to be advertising staying there for "long-term" housing needs now so maybe things have changed? The J Street is right across the street from The Harbor Club, the Marriott, and other luxury hotels so I would hardly call it a shady area.
