Question entry level jobs in finance or insurance

A couple buddies and i are wanting to leave the midwest for a while and pursue career opportunities on the coast. I have just got my bachelor's of science in finance and will be acquiring a series 6 at the end of the month. i have at least one other person to live with and ideally would like to move to ocean side or pacific beach to stay around a younger crowd. if anybody has any advice on what jobs to look for in my situation i would appreciate any feedback. high rent will not be a huge issue if i have the means to compensate for it. Thanks.....
