Please post your experiences with moving companies here. I'll start:

Two Men Will Move You: I give them an 8/10. They were cheap and honest and overall very good movers. However, they did bump a wall or two, leaving small marks here and there. Still, I would not hesitate to use them again - and I am, for my upcoming move.

Default All About Moving

All About Moving

They were fast, conscientious, and took good care of my stuff. Even better care than I would have.

They're pricing was comparable to the other companies I called. The owner is flexible with pricing as well - I had two moves scheduled within a month, and he is giving me a discount on the second one.

I would definitely recommend them!

I have to rescind my glowing review of Two Men Will Move You. I had a move scheduled for this last Sunday at 10 AM. Well, they called me at 4:30 PM the day before and told me they had to cancel my move. I begged and pleaded with them, but they said there was nothing they could do for me besides push it back a day. I then asked for a discount for the inconvenience (had to reschedule tv, internet, carpet cleaners and also pay another day's rent on the old place). They wouldn't discount at all, so I told them I'll never do business with them again and hung up.

I then called Starving Students, who were able to put me on the schedule for Sunday morning with last-minute notice. I will be eternally grateful to them for that. They weren't anything special as far as movers go - nice guys, but a lot of dinged walls - but I owe them for helping me out.

Two Men Will Move You did a great job for me. They arrived on time, a bit early actually, and did a quick and courteous job with the move. I'd use them again without a second thought.
