san diego gangs
I had my car keyed by a gang member about two years ago. My husband then parked my car in the same neighborhood and someone keyed into the original scratch with something that looks like an old English N. I live in El Cajon and my car was tagged off of Jamacha at the Sprouts. Does anyone have any information on which gang this may be?

I know this sounds a little typical but what happened to the car might not have been gang members. It could have been taggers, vandals,or just people who don't give a rat's tell about personal property.I'm just saying it's not a good idea to speculate or jump to conclusions about criminal/gang activities. But there is a chance it was gang because the Ole English font.

I think the N might stand for the N in El Nino Gang.

I always have been told that a good amount gang tagging is done to mark territory, corners of interest, etc, and not on something mobile like a car that just drives off. Possibly taggers, but I'm hardly a go-to guy for this subject.

I'd say "Norteno"...? Or it could have been someone starting to write their "moniker" and got scared off before finishing it. or it could be their the name of their "hood".

el cajon gangs
The only reason I say it was a gang member is because I knew specifically the individual who did it he also robbed my husbands truck and did a bunch of other crazy things I could not figure out however which gang he "used" to be affiliated with and was hoping to give the police a little more background. Thanks for your help everyone!

Was it a black, hispanic, asian or white guy ? This might help identify the gang. Have you supplied the police with his name and address ?

Given that its in SanDiego, it'll be Latino gang. Gang activity has always been high in Oceanside, San Marcos, Chul Vista, El Cajon and Lemon Grove.

Well in El Cajon there are mainly White gangs with some Mexican gangs as well. In the other cities you mentioned there are Mexican & Asian street gangs.
The black gang presence is in the Encanto district.
