Yep. Immediately south of Golden Hill on the other side of 94. There are some nice houses in that neighborhood, also some trashed blocks too. Still some gangsters over there too.

It's the next neighborhood west of Grant Hill...I think it's from 15th-24th st and market st down to either imperial or commercial. I think what you're seeing from the 94 is golden hill or south park..but I don't really know the area yet.

If he looked to the left on 94 from downtown, wouldn't he see golden hill/south park?

I can see why that area is changing. It's so close to downtown and I'll bet people are moving in and fixing up those older homes, they have lots of character and potential.
