Sunset from Oakzanita Peak. We hiked up for sunset, and down in the bright moonlight. Second photo is looking West from Cuyamaca peak the night before, just as the last sun faded from the sky. ~8 miles both nights, and we didn't see a single other human the whole time. So much awesome out there!

^^ That area in front of the USS Midway Museum will look much different in about a year.

Not splitting hairs but do you mean the aft or backside of the Midway?

Those are some great fresh pics of downtown SD. Between the demolition of the Navy admin building and the shredding of Seaport Village, downtown SD will look a lot different in a few years.

What kind of plane were you flying in?

Yes, I mean that cleared area where the old Navy buildings used to be. I suppose I should have said in back of or above in relation to its position in the picture.

As I understand it, those two streets above the clear area will actually go all the way to the bay now.

I was in Laguna campground all week. A crazy full moon. I did see the biggest Mt lion I've ever seen. Lake did have water in it.
