Great pics of Balboa Park!! Looks the same as I left it!! When my daughter was little we use to go there on a daily basis...had passes to the Zoo...lived in Hillcrest. As I type this there is a picture of us on the carousel there on my desk. It's one of our first stops when we go home to visit. We always have San Filipos on 5th for dinner afterwards. Family owned place...they know us there from our frequent visits!! Can't wait to be there in March!!

^^ Thanks, shannon! Balboa Park is definitely one of San Diego's best gems. I love San Filippo's, too! Great place for old-school Italian Food.

How about some skyline shots? None of these were taken by me.
Remember last winter when the snow level got down to 1,000 feet? We haven't had much snow in the mountains this year
Nightime shot from Harbor Island
A beautiful partly cloudy day
Dusk from Coronado
Yet another Point Loma panorama

^^Thanks for posting your pics of the Breast Cancer walk. I had 2 friends that participated in the last walk that had a great time.
Some random stuff-
The 163 Freeway thru Balboa Park
I thought this was a funny shot of people on Segways in Coronado. Could this be the wave of the future? Or perhaps the future is here now?
My ferry ride to Coronado
A packed Embarcadero this past weekend
Imagine driving your boat to the restaurant to eat? Must be nice.
Our beloved Star of India ship
The big storm that was predicted to dump a foot of snow in the mountains turned out to be a dud. Just a dusting on the highest peaks.

I lived in Leucadia for several years - you cant beat Costal N. County. Where were the pictures of the houses and tree lined streets located? La Jolla? Sunset Cliffs area?

The North County coast is hard to beat. The pics you referred to were taken in the Kensington neighborhood of San Diego. It's located on the canyon rim just south of Qualcomm Stadium in Mission Valley. As you mentioned, streets and houses like that are a dime a dozen in LJ, Point Loma and Sunset Cliffs
