Hey, I beat you to it........lol

With the days being so unbelievably clear recently, I went to that spot over the weekend and took some photos. FYI - it's the vicinity of Lucinda Street and Harbor View in the Point Loma area. They've been taking postcards shots from here for years.

The city views from this neighborhood are hard to beat

We're here

I'm not sure if the city maintains this garden or the area residents. It's a beautiful spot.

Looking up at the garden from the street. I noticed they are putting up a bunch of mcmansions of some small lots.

New house on stilts, and look at that view!!

Driving down the steep street

The Money Shot! You're not in Kansas, anymore

Default The most beautiful part of the usa...

FIRST OF ALL...
THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS & SHARING.

Back in the early to mid 1980's
Hubby & I lived in San Diego 3 years...Woodland Hills in the San Fernando Valley 1-1/2 years & San Jose for 1-1/2 years.
We loved California. We traveled up North to San Francisco & the Redwood National Park while we were there.
SAN DIEGO WAS OUR VERY FAVORITE
EVERYTHING ABOUT IT FROM THE WEATHER TO THE PEOPLE.

IF ONLY WE COULD GO BACK...EVEN IF FOR ONLY A VISIT. WE WOULD DO IT IN A HEARTBEAT.

WE LIVED IN MISSOURI ARE WHOLE LIFE. BORN & RAISED. WE TOOK THE CHANCE FOR A JOB & WE WENT BEST THING WE'VE EVER DONE.
WE HAD TO MOVE BACK DUE TO PARENTS IN GRAVE HEALTH.
WE STILL HAVE MANY FRIENDS THAT LIVE IN CA. MAINLY SAN DIEGO.
JUST WISH WE COULD COME BACK.
WE LOVE SAN DIEGO MORE THAN HAWAII.
DUE TO OUR HEALTH PROBLEMS WE WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO COME BACK FOR A VISIT.

JUST KNOW IF YOU EVER GET THE CHANCE TO GO TO SAN DIEGO...DO IT !!!

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS & MEMORIES OF OUR MOST FAVORITE PLACE TO BE/LIVE.

Default You will love san diego

When you get a chance just drive around & see EVERYTHING.
Balboa park & Wild animal park are great if your an animal lover.

Our favorite beaches were Silver Strand & Coronado.

Don't forget the tidepools...that was fun & interesting.

The view from Point Loma is fantastic.

We lived there in the mid 1980's & we NEVER ran out of things to do.

I'm sure you will enjoy San Diego, wish my Hubby, myself and all our dogs could fit in your luggage.

Enjoy every minute & take LOTS of photos & never ever take this beautiful city for granted. Appreciate it and enjoy.

Hope you realize what a lucky duck you are.

Have a safe trip...great health & happiness.

Here are a few recent shots. The first set is at Torrey Pines. As you can see, the mist was really starting to roll in.

This second set is from Shelter Island. We were just out for a stroll and since it was such a beautiful day I decided to snap a few photos.

A harbor seal decided to poke his head out of the water for a moment.

These pelicans are HUGE! To be honest, I was a little scared being so close to them. Their wing span is incredible and they were flying back and forth over our heads.

These last couple pics are just shots from the car going over the Coronado bridge and a view of the city from the bridge.
