I've never seen pics of the new stadium from those angles. It looks really good. The games I do get to see on TV never show other parts of the stadium so thanks for posting those!!!

Wink Attaching Photos

How can I add the picture where it automatically shows up on my post, instead of an attachment that everyone has to open?? Help please.

sdurbanite. I love the view from your office. How beautiful. You hiring? That's a company perk in and of itself.

Seriously how is the job market in the area. I've been seriously considering leaving the cold winters and the mentalities of Jersey far behind and either heading south or west to something more progressive. Maybe a little green and veggie friendly. Longer sailing and cycling seasons. You know paradise...LOL. A friend recommended looking into San Diego..

northcountystooge-

Thanks for posting that pic of the Spruce Street Bridge. I used to live near there and used it all the time. For those who know nothing about it, Click here http://www.hillquest.com/history/spruce.html. Another historic footbridge is the Quince Street Bridge http://www.hillquest.com/history/quince.html

You just gotta love our city's older neighborhoods. What's sad is that few people who live north of the 8 freeway know much about this area.

LOL....I get asked that all the time. I work for a small commercial property development company and the people who work here never leave - it's probably because of the view

Not sure what to say about the job market, I do know that the unemployment rate has risen recently to above 4%. It's low compared to many other areas, but we are so use to being in the 3.5 range. Other threads out there can provide more info.

In the meantime, I'm glad others out there are enjoying this photo thread, and thanks to the moderator for making this a sticky. It's almost summer and this is the time when I never leave home without a camera, so look out for more "Only in San Diego" pics.

Talking Oh my gosh ! ... It makes me so "homesick" !

Wow ... and I thought I was already "homesick" for San Diego. Even though I only lived there 3 years of my almost 41 years, SD is my "heart's" home ... and I miss it SO much! ... I think people here (in Portland) get tired of hearing me talk about it so much!

I'm hoping to come down in the next week or so and look for a job ... I can't stand being away any longer! ... 10 years is WAY too long!

Funny thing is, we're having WAY better weather in Portland right now than SD! ... I know all about May Gray and June Gloom ... and I'm okay with it, because I know what the rest of the year holds! ... Plus, it doesn't usually stay that way ALL day. But, we're having the most amazing May here in Portland. It's been sunny and clear ... and in the 70's and 80's most of the month. It was 88' today. So great ... but so weird!

But, you know what - I STILL miss San Diego!

So, that tells me that it's time to go!

So, here's hopin' I'm there this time next week! ...
