With the recent rains, most of the hills, valleys and canyons are nice and green these days. Lots of wildflowers, too. Just some random shots taken from the road during the past few days, plus a quick side trip along the PCH.

Around Sorrento Valley

Beautiful wildflowers just off the freeway

Lovely Torrey Pines/Del Mar

Deer crossing sign here?

The Mighty Pacific

Back to Sorrento Valley

Looking lush along the 52

Thanks sdurbanite - those are very nice shots and love seeing everything green. Our tree's and things here in Minnesota are greening up early this year due to warmer spring weather. But I never tire of seeing the ocean and palm tree's. And seeing the photo's is the next best thing to being there.

Carlsbad flower fields. They're starting to wilt, so get there while you still can!

Guess we aren't the only ones who thought this was a good idea. Looks like an SUV convention.

Obviously sun rise highway which is a classic San Diego drive. My parents did it as children with their parents back in the 1950's and I'm sure I will do it with mine. Just as soon as I trick my girlfriend into getting knocked up.

It is a great drive; wish it was a bit longer.
