Default Images of San Diego

Since pictures say a thousand words, I'd like to dedicate this photo thread to everything that is San Diego (Beaches, neighborhoods, parks, vistas, etc). Purpose of this thread?

- To show San Diego expats what the city looks like now since they've left
- To share with future residents what they have to look forward to
- To remind those of us who live here why we live in such a great place

Let's hope this thread can stay alive with people adding new pics, regularly. I'll start by sharing a few that I've taken -

One I posted in another thread that should also be here

View from Harbor Island and Spanish Landing Park

From the pedestrian overpass bridge

View from Coronado

My urban Kensington neighborhood, where most of the homes were built in the 1920's and 1930's

That's it for now and I hope you participate!

Yeah, I'm a sucker for Spanish homes, also, especially is they aren't of the new tract home variety

No San Diego photo thread would be complete without any shots of our lovely beaches -

It was 80 degrees last Sunday (eat your heart out, Midwesterners!) so I headed to Balboa Park with my camera in hand. You can never get tired of looking at the park's architecture .

Hi Sdurbanite! Yeah, if it was just me, I very well would have stayed. We moved here to Jax (since my husband took a job transfer) to be in a place with a lower cost of living and to be closer to our extended families. Yet, it's hard not to miss friends and life in SD. Enjoy it for me!
