Default Imperial Beach

As I have stated before I am moving back to SD in June with my wife and daughter. I have found some places in IP for a reasonable price and was wondering if it is an OK place to live now days. I lived there when I was about 10 and it seemed OK then.

It's OK
A little inconvenient,hippy-ish,and doesn't offer much.Try South San Diego(Ocean View Hills)and Chula Vista if your looking into areas of the South Bay.

IB is nice. It has a bad rap but its changes a lot. Mar Vista isn't a bad high school, just diverse.

I would keep looking. Imperial beach is a place that always seems to destined to turn around but never quite manages to turn around.

Imperial Beach is located too close to the sewage runoff from Tijuana which results in lots of beach closures. The city itself is a little rough, with transients and vagrants walking around.
