Hi everyone!!! After being exiled to the S.E. for 20 years I'm returning home to CA in November. I'm 44 and a single professional female and would prefer to live in an area of SD where I could make new friends and enjoy the arts, the beach, restaurants, etc. I've lived in the suburbs of Atl and not sure I want to do that again. I understand SD has a revitalized downtown & I'm wondering if there are singles my age there or mostly a much younger crowd. Not a party animal but ready for a brand new life experience. Please help me locate a few areas that I may have overlooked. Initially, I'm renting...maybe even a roommate situation until I figure out where to locate a business. Thanks a million...Rita

Well if you have not been in S.D for a while? You can get around most places on the trolley. You still need a car offcourse for commuting. If you want to eat a drink you can go most all over the central county by trolley. North county u can use the train or drive. Its all in what a person wants. If you want lower rents that will be south county I.B. chula vista. el cajon. Rent is going down a little so that is good. The big question is work, not really and jobs, lots of applicants for every job
