But for now I am here for you.

But on a serious note, sense the gas has been about 235 in some places I have been wanting to experiment it from say Otay Lakes up and through the 94 area and from my exit down to Brown Field.
Yep, I need SBE rehab

I took it south to 905 a couple of times. It's quick going in that direction too, but westbound 905 is still as slow as ever with the Otay truck traffic (the truckers apparently aren't using the toll road--at about 7 bucks, guess I can't blame them). And no, there have not been any minor/major tie-ups on it. I'm hoping they'll have "toll-free weekends" over the holidays like they did last year--that would be a good time for you to experiment.

Thanks for the info especially on the fasttrack stuff. I'm going to pick one of those up.

Default Screw FastTrack.

Screw the fast track! Take the 125 south before it becomes a tollroad to the 54 to the first exit (Briarwood). Then take central blvd to proctor valley road and voila! You are in eastlake. This will only add 5 extra minutes to your commute, and you don't have to pay the ludicrous $2.25 fee for traveling one measly exit on the 125. If you take the mountain road (94 I believe) just take Otay Lakes Road and there you are, if you prefer the scenic route.

That's a great idea, aside from the fact that San Miguel Rd and Proctor Valley Rd are both single-lane roads with 25 mph speed limits, and the fact that the detour through Otay Lakes Rd would add at least 15 minutes to your commute.

While we're giving advice, here's mine. If your vehicle has off-road capabilities (say, it's an SUV), you can avoid paying the toll by taking 94 to Jamul and then cutting across undeveloped area on Proctor Valley Road. That will get you into Rolling Hills Ranch cheaper than 125 and the trip will be shorter than the one via Otay Lakes Road.
