Default moving cross country...suggestions for meeting people?
I'm a 24F moving from baltimore to san diego. I don't know anyone in san diego, and I'm trying to figure out how to meet people in the lesbian scene. Anyone have suggestions for how to meet new people without having friends to start with??

Also, any advice for where to live would be appreciated. I have a job already lined up that pays really well so money isn't that big of an issue.

Meetup.com has some groups that may be helpful. Hang out in Hillcrest, I think there is also a LGBT center there.

Howdy over there in BMore.This might sound crazy but if your an "action-breathing" type of person try going to Mission Beach or PB,play some Volleyball,or frisby and talk to people that look like they are from here.That's what a co-worker did not knowing anyone here in SD at all and he made lot's of friends in about a 6 week span.San Diegans are really nice once you take us off the road and we park our cars.
