Default Is Julian Ave a good neighborhood in Logan Heights?

I am considering on moving on Julian Ave with my three children. I received so much negative feedback on Logan Heights and I wanted to know is Julian Ave a unsafe neighboorhood.

It's the barrio so you get all that comes with that. That is the old part of the barrio. It's not as unsafe as many people think it is. It is mostly single-family homes. There are women and children walking the streets all hours of day. After dark it is not recommended to be out and about too much. I wouldn't suggest living there if you have other (better) options, especially with kids.
