1AngryTaxPayer, the bike is for women. It is a Schwinn Sidewinder 2.6 and is a dark purple color. I think it is a 10 speed... 7 on the right handle, 3 on the left.

If anyone wants the bike (for free), just PM asap. I plan on taking it to PB this weekend. Again, it has a broken gear.
That's a 21 speed, standard mt bike. Actually not a bad bike by industry standards. Beats the cheap dept store stuff made in Asia.

Yes thats right free stuff won`t even get stolen, you should have made it $40 and they would have been gone in 5 mins flat.

LOL
It was somewhat of a joke
It depends on how much it would cost to fix it.I always told myself that if I do move to the desert next year I am going to mountain bike, and do it often.Looks like fun.

I am not sure how much it will cost to get it fixed.

I am not sure what the part is called. How it broke was that I had switched gears too quickly and then it was trying to adjust on the back wheel and then got stuck into the wheel. Then the wheel couldn't roll so we had to physically bend the part on the wheel outwards so I could roll down the hill home.

So I dropped off the bike in Normal Heights today in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant called Super Cocina. I made sure to put a "Free" sign on it. Not exaggerating- it was gone in 2 minutes. We had just placed the bike in a corner and were still trying to detach our bike rack to put in the car when a young couple who just walked out of the restaurant saw it and picked it up.

Out of all the places I've lived in the US we have more thieves here than any other I've lived.
