Default Spring Valley Specific Area

A friend from the Midwest wants to rent a house on Kenwood Drive near Alexandria Ave.

Is Kenwood Drive between Bancroft Drive and Campo Road a decent area ?

How is the crime rate and the conditions of the homes ?

I've read other posters comments about Spring Valley. Is this in the decent area of SV or not ?

I told the guy to go down there and investigate before signing a lease. Please let us know.

I would live in Spring Valley.Just not in most of the apartments though, there pretty slummy. But the area you described seems to be an ok area, not paradise but not slum-city either.

Not a bad area. But, if I may make a recommendation: A little further down the 94 are some great complexes. Rancho San Diego is much nicer. Spring Valley is not a bad neighborhood but in spots can seem dirty. Depending on what your friend is looking for La Mesa or Rancho San Diego might be better, cleaner.
