Hey everyone! Was just curious if there were any other Kansans in San Diego and where from in Kansas? I just recently moved here to San Diego and so far I saw 2 cars with Kansas plates. Just wondering if there were anymore of us!

I'm sure there are plenty. Colorado is well represented here and KS ain't that far off.

Yeah I don't think I would fit in very well with the Kstate Alum group since I'm a Jayhawk but that would be cool if there was KU Alum group somewhere around here.

Hi, I am from Kansas originally. Born in Wichita. Then I lived there again for a couple of years as a teenager in the 1980s. How about you?

Jayhawks regularly meet to watch games either at the Boardwalk Bar & Grill, 3704 Mission Blvd in Mission Beach or at the Kansas City Barbeque at Market and Kettner in downtown San Diego. The owners of both bars are fellow Jayhawk alums.

Rock Chalk!

Did y'all Kansans feel just like Dorothy in Oz when you first came to San Diego? (Sorry, had to do it)

You need to bring along 50 more of your friends from Kansas City and show this town what real BBQ is!

People rave about Phil's BBQ but believe me I have had many parties and slow cooked my own stuff and EVERYONE agrees that mine was a lot better but that is another story!

Rock Chalk Jawhawk
